Laminar Flow Pass Thrus are available in standard and custom sizes. LFI Pass Thrus are provided with electronic or mechanical interlocks allowing only one door at a time to be opened. A self-contained system constructed entirely 304/304L or 316L stainless-steel polished to a #4 finish. Double wall, heavy duty 14 and 16 ga stainless steel. Continuously welded interiors ground smooth and polished provide a seamless 1/2″ radius coved corner interior as standard method of construction. Heavy-duty stainless-steel latches assure a positive door seal. Doors are manufactured from either heavy gauge double wall or tubular construction. Doors are available with Lexan, Plexiglas, or Laminated Safety Glass viewing panels. HEPA filtered Pass Thrus feature a continuously welded knife edge incorporated into the top of the Pass Thru flush mounted with a perforated stainless-steel grille located downstream of the HEPA filter. Grilles are removable and accessible from within the Pass Thru. Systems are fully assembled and wired at our facility prior to shipping.

If specified, HEPA or ULPA filters are available. Gel Seal technology is utilized as a standard with all of our systems. This design allows for the gel trough to be around the filter and the knife edge integrally incorporated into the Pass Thru. Perforated stainless-steel grilles located downstream and flush to the interior protect the filter and provide even air distribution. Both serviced from within the Pass Thru chamber.

The LFI “Smart” Pass Thru with smart auto door, utilizes an infrared adjustable sensor with wave technology. This is incorporated into the controller and automatically locks out the opposite door. All LFI Pass Thrus with Auto Door adhere to ANSI A.156.10 Standards.

No integral flooring, exhaust airduct collar with an internal adjustable damper, external seams are stitched-welded and sealed with approved FDA silicone sealant. HEPA filtration provides positive air flow, approx. air changes per hour with doors closed can exceed 100 air changes per hour.

Electromagnetic locks are used to control the interlock door function. A multi-color LED Indicator is used to display the status of the respective doors. Green/Red when interlock feature is enabled thru a wall mounted wave switch. The unit is provided with an internal mushroom head button to disable the electromagnetic locks to allow for emergency egress.

The LFI Stainless Steel Roll Up Pass Thru is built to client specifications. Constructed of 304 or 316L 16GA stainless steel, all joints are welded. Each door features a safety stop, with electronic eye verification at the entrance. Push button for open and close operation on both sides. Ramps to facilitate loading are standard. Solid stainless steel roll up doors, or fabric doors with windows are also available.
